Standard Offline Software Agreement
These terms govern your use of Plantiva ("Application"), provided by Creative Apps Lab. Plantiva is a standalone, offline Android application designed to help you organize plant care routines and local watering reminders.
1Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Plantiva from Google Play or importing its source builds, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.
2Local Data Responsibility & Backups
Because Plantiva operates without cloud storage or server synchronization, all plant profiles, care notes, watering histories, and photos reside solely on your physical Android device.
⚠️ Backup Notice:
You are solely responsible for taking periodic backups of your data using Plantiva's built-in Settings > Export JSON Backup feature. Creative Apps Lab is not liable for data loss resulting from device hardware failure, factory resets, uninstallation, or operating system updates.
3Botanical & Plant Care Guidelines Disclaimer
Plantiva provides calculation tools, watering intervals, and care journal logging to assist plant enthusiasts. However:
- Suggested watering intervals are general recommendations. Individual ambient conditions such as light intensity, pot porosity, humidity, and soil composition affect actual moisture requirements.
- Always feel the soil moisture before watering. Creative Apps Lab is not liable for plant health outcomes or loss resulting from schedule over-watering or under-watering.
4Intellectual Property & Licensing
The Plantiva application, brand assets, mascot designs, custom Jetpack Compose layouts, and original code are the intellectual property of Creative Apps Lab. Distributed under standard software end-user licensing terms.
